    सुश्री नीतिका जैन

    Ms. Nitika Jain joined National Judicial Academy in September 2015 as a Law Associate and since then involved in designing and coordinating various training programmes for judges at different levels at the Academy. Ms. Jain has coordinated training programmes on various themes like Goods and Service Tax, Arbitration and Conciliation, IPR, Serious offences, Process Reengineering in courts, Human Rights, Constitution and Administrative Law, Training of Trainers etc. She has also coordinated a multiyear programme on Counter Terrorism in collaboration with the U.S Federal Judicial Center, Washington. DC and CEELI Institute, Prague, and has been a part of the exchanges held in the United States and in India. She has represented the Academy’s work on the Counter Terrorism project at the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. She has worked on programmes for judges of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and conducted a Benchmarking Exercise for officials of Eswatini (Swaziland) through Virtual Meeting as a speaker on the themes Case Management and ICT in Indian Courts.

    On behalf of the Academy she has attended following programmes: 2nd National Symposium on Excellence in Training (NSET) held by Department of Personnel and Training in New Delhi; Cybercrime Investigation & Intelligence Summit (CIIS 2019) held at the MP Police Academy; Judicial Education Seminar - Principles of Curriculum Development and Pedagogy (Virtual) organized by the U.S. FJC and CEELI Institute in collaboration with the NJA for the faculty members of the Academy.

    She has completed a research project on the theme “Analysis of Pendency in Family Courts of Madhya Pradesh and suggested methods to reduce pendency”, under the Scheme for Action Research and Studies on Judicial Reforms of the Ministry of Law & Justice, Department of Justice, New Delhi.

    Prior to joining NJA, she has interned with advocates in the High Court, District Court, State Human Rights Commission and Commission for Protection of Child Rights of Madhya Pradesh. She holds a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) with specialization in Human Rights from the National Law Institute University, in Bhopal and a five year Bachelor’s degree in Law (BA.LLB) from the Symbiosis International University, Pune. She also has a diploma in Intellectual Property Rights and a certification in German Language.
